Eastern Florida State College opened its Aerospace Center of Excellence on the Titusville campus on October 13, 2026, converting a former gymnasium into labs and classrooms and adding an aviation training hangar under a $1.2 million state allocation.

The Space Coast EDC announced October 15 that CesiumAstro will invest $25 million in a Melbourne engineering and manufacturing facility and add 100 jobs over the next 12 months.
