Relativity Space Brevard Expansion: $565M and 590 Jobs Reported

Relativity Space has selected Brevard County for a corporate expansion, per the Space Coast EDC's announcement, and Florida Today puts the Relativity Space Brevard expansion at $565 million in capital investment with 590 jobs expected in the first phase. Per that same reporting, the company is still evaluating where in the county the final site will land.

What Florida Today Reports on the Relativity Space Brevard Expansion

Per Florida Today, the $565 million is the total capital investment for the expansion and the 590 jobs are what the first phase is expected to bring. The same reporting says the Economic Development Commission of Florida's Space Coast is involved in the site evaluation process. None of the published pieces list a parcel, a square footage, or a lease structure.

What the EDC Has Put Out

The Space Coast EDC posted the announcement on its own site and said it worked closely with company leadership to secure the deal. Brevard County Commission Chair Thad Altman called the project a "significant manufacturing operation." According to coverage of the announcement, Governor Ron DeSantis made the reveal at the 2026 Farnborough Air Show.

If you own large-bay industrial buildings or shovel-ready land in North Brevard, watch the site evaluation. Per the reporting, the EDC is still in the middle of that process, and that is when parcels along the US-1 and SR-405 corridors near Kennedy Space Center get looks they would not get in a normal quarter. The commitment also lands in a market where industrial demand already outruns available space and follows Blue Origin's Titusville manufacturing facility into the same North Brevard submarket.

Where will Relativity Space build in Brevard County?

No site has been announced. According to the Space Coast EDC, Relativity Space is continuing to evaluate a final location in Brevard County, and the Florida Today reporting on jobs and economic impact has centered on Titusville and North Brevard. Nothing published so far names a parcel, an address, or a square footage.
